A ‘Fish of the Month’ award is given each month for the best specimen fish from boat and beach, weighed at the Clubhouse and caught in Herne Bay waters. For this purpose the normal club limits to the east and west apply, but there is no limit seaward.
BOAT - All fish must be weighed in at the clubhouse to qualify and must be a minimum of 80% of specimen size. Juniors have their own awards and fish must be 50% to qualify.
Note: It is the responsibility of the angler who caught the fish to register their catch into the FOM competition, including any fish weighed-in in competitions.
